The most compelling proof for the flat earth is the objects we can see over the horizon. Feel free to start threads on this and related proofs.

This is the most convincing video I have found

and another video which shows what happens to ships when they go out of view.

UPDATE:

Here are some more of the best videos on the topic.

There is some interesting discussion in the comments after this video

Amazing video showing boats on the horizon, thoroughly examined. One of the best, not to be missed!

This video addresses the issue of the rate of curvature. It is important because it curves more than people think. It is focused on how google has manipulated the issue but it is important in a general way

Mount Taranaki in New Zealand.

Very thorough video showing very conclusive proof of the flatness of the earth

There was an objection over on  ABLF3 forum to this video
http://ablf3.com/threads/flat-earth-people-out-there.693/page-2#post-6488

Here is the objection, and below is the response. The author is a respectable Traditional Catholic, so there is no need to be too harsh. Unfortunately, he (who is also the admin) has locked the thread, not permitting a response. I have written to him asking him to overturn that, but for the moment I am putting it here, where I know it will be safe.

Samuel wrote:The second photo can be found on this page : Two Go Tiki Touring: The Kiwi’s Beak- Farewell Spit : Part 1

The lady taking the photo was on a tour of Cape Farewell, which she explains on that same webpage. As you can see from the other photos, the tour bus brings the tourists to the top of the cliff. Going to Google Earth shows the elevation at the top of that cliff ranging from 19 to 60m, in very close proximity to where the bus stops. A tourist wanting to take a picture of far away Mt Taranaki would logically go and stand on the highest spot close by (only a few meters away).

Using the Earth Curvature Calculator with these figures (elevation : 60m, distance : 182km) gives us a hidden height of 1869m, which would leave 649m of the peak visible.

Now go to Google Earth and find the height of the little side peak on the photo, which is called Fantham's Peak and has an altitude of 1953m, which is 565m below the main peak.

So, we should still see another 84m (649m - 565m) below Fantham's Peak, which is indeed what we see on that photo. The numbers and calculations all agree with what we see.

The error of the person who made this video is to assume the photo was taken from 3m elevation. But, assumption is the mother of all error!

What I really wonder is at what point these flat earthers are going to admit they've been taken by the nose ?

"Samuel, you accurately state that there would be 84 m which you would
see below Fathoms peak, according to your assumptions.

Pause the video at about 1:42 to see the photo in question.

However, (and this is a BIG however) look at the proportions here. The
height distance is 500 metres (approx) between the two peaks. The
distance from Fathoms peak, to the horizon, is visible on that photo
also. You can simply measure with a ruler and see for yourself, that
this latter distance is clearly more than two thirds of the former
distance. (if you're really honest you will see it is pretty much the
same height.)

84 m is way, way less than two thirds of 500 metres. (333 metres) You
have to admit that. Just look at the photo

Friends,
The admin of the forum has contacted me to say that he has unlocked the thread. He gives the reason on the thread.

Dubay has posted a video on this proof. It is only okay.

But there is one interesting part where it shows a mountain which should be 30000 feet under!

The following explains very well what mirages are and what they should look like.
